Things I'm Learning Lately

Some things I'm learning lately:

  1. Resources are limitless. Increasing what I require to do what I'm doing in the world increases supply. It's not a moral thing, it's a law of nature. Water flows to open spaces, and avoids places that don't already need it. So stepping out onto a bigger stage is a more effective way to increase resources than just working harder.

  2. When discomfort, fear, anxiety come up, relax and release. Let the feelings come up, and out. Every moment is for freedom. You don't need to save the world. You only need to relax, breathe, and serve the moment you're in the best you can.

  3. Intuition speaks directly to God. That's how you know what to do next. And that's all you need to know. So write lists and make plans, but every day, many times per day, step away and ask your intuition to course-correct. Let it choose your next item, not yesterday's list.

  4. Be who you want to be now. You want to be that because you are already that. The destination won't make you that; being that will bring you to the destination... or not, but it won't matter since you already have what you hoped the destination would bring.

  5. Don't be afraid of facts. Look at numbers head-on. Ignore the story around them. How much money do we have or owe? Fine. That's what we've got to work with today. It doesn't mean anything. It's just a snapshot of the present reality.

  6. Every "negative" emotion is an opportunity for love and compassion for a scared part of yourself. This brings healing. That's what you want. The situation isn't bad — it's an open door for healing. Don't go through life slamming, locking, and boarding up these doors.

  7. The internet is not your home. You are here. Flesh and blood. Tangible. Build your home here.
